    Comments:

I love this bike! Steel is real; responsive, flexible, fast and you can't beat the color of this frame. Components are the only downside, otherwise this is the bike to end all bikes. The roads are a mess out here on the northeast coast and the Allez glides or flies around the mess while making me feel like I'm flying. Go simple, go fast, forget about carbon/ti--this is the bicycle for the zen rider.

    Comments:

I looked at bikes for about 3 months and I kept coming back to this steel bike. OK, so I'm a bit of a throw back, but with the DT shifters, smooth frame and decent components I just couldn't stop from buying it. I'm newly into this sport, as tired knees couldn't take the beatings anymore. I love the steel frame, price and ride it provides.

      Comments:

I got this bike to put my power cranks on and to train on all of the time. This bike rocks! The ride is very sable and comfortable. Its a throwback to team Shaver Sport in "American Flyers" with Kevin Costner. The bike has turned in to my work horse and I love training on it. This would be a great first time bike, a winter bike or fast commuter. It has a place for a rear rack. The only thing I had trouble with was attaching a rear full fender to it. The front fender went on just fine. I wish it came with a chrome fork. That would be totally cool.

        Comments:

With some small changes this(2010 Allez) is EXACTLY like the bicycle(1987 Allez) I owned 22 years ago. It is a great bicycle and value for anyone looking to train for a race, or just improving your health, and getting outside more. Carbon Sharbon, Titanium Shmainium, Many of us will pay too much for a bicycle that will never see the levels of riding it was designed to be ridden at. It is such a Steel of a bicycle I may buy a second one.
